Oh, that’s what it is!

Fascinator:  A headpiece or a style of millinery that dates back to the Victorian Era. Modern Fascinators are typically made of a combination of lace, feathers, beads or flowers that attach to the head or hair with a clip, headband or comb.

If you’re one the many women who’ve recently fallen in love with fascinators, questions do remain.  What are the rules? When do you wear them? Must you be British? Who can where them? How do you wear them? Where do you wear them? How dare you wear them?

Find me a party I want to wear one!

Where do you get them? Well Irish milliner Philip Treacy of course. He created the more unusual hats and fascinators worn by the royals…hello Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice.

We must have a Fascinators Party here at Totally Kids fun furniture and toys!

Let’s first put on our thinking caps and begin the party planning.
