TIPS FOR WINNING FREE STUFF

  1. Enter As Many Contests As Possible Obviously, the more contests you enter the greater your chances are of winning something.  If pressed for time, enter 100 contests once rather then 1 contest 100 times.
  2. The More Prizes The Better Go for contests that have many prizes on offer. If there are 100 prizes on offer, you have 100 more chances 9 of winning something with each entry.
  3. Enter Contests That Have Fewer People Entering Them Naturally contests that have fewer people entering them will be easier to win, so always enter a lot of these types. They’re generally more obscure contests from less well known sites. Having said all of that, still try to enter every contest you find at least once.
  4. Read the Rules Of Contests Carefully You don’t want to disqualify yourself because you entered a contest multiple times, when you were only allowed to enter it once.
  5. Setup Free Email Accounts Setup some free email accounts and use those to enter contests. For better or worse you will get some junk mail, so it might as well be to an email account you have set up especially for that purpose, rather than to your personal one. Any one of these will do, Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo. However, make sure you always check these email accounts for notifications of any wins.
  6. Enter Real Details You should always put your real details in when asked. How else can they verify who you are when you have won something?
  7. Use “Web Form Filling” Software Use “Web Form Filling” software to speed up the process of entering contests. They enable you to complete web forms with just one click, which can make the difference between entering 20 contests in an hour or being able to enter 100 contests in an hour.(NOTE: Never use any software that automatically enters contests for you as you will most likely be disqualified automatically.)

This Tuesday morning an extremely rare event occurred. The shortest day of the year known as the winter solstice in astronomical circles and a lunar eclipse both happened on the very same day. The last time it occurred was more than 400 years ago and will probably take that long again before it happens again. It was rare,  it was special… and here in Minneapolis a blizzard blocked the night skies. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Moon In My Room

Moon in My Room brings the beauty and wonder of this celestial body right into your child’s bedroom. This remote controlled, glow-in-the-dark “mini moon” is contoured and textured to feature an authentically detailed lunar moonscape. A built in light-sensor illuminates a room when it gets dark and shows 12 phases of the moon. The phases can be controlled manually or set to rotate on an automatic function to change every five second, so that kids can follow the moon in the sky with the moon in their room.

So, what fun things did you do on the longest night of the year? We had a jolly old time making Reindeer Root Beer for friends and neighbors.

All it takes is googly eyes, red pom pom attached with a hot glue gun and dark brown pipe cleaners to twist on top of the bottle. Then we enclose a message: with a message: We’re “rootn” that you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!”

We could not resist dressing the winter ale bottles for a party Wednesday night.

Little Mommy Mariah is cooking up a storm at one of the Totally Kids many pretend play kitchens.

We have a new dog joining the Totally Team’s “we love our dogs board”. Because of flooding in southern Minnesota, Shauna drove 4 hours or more last night to get her new cute little Pit puppy Casey.  Once we get everyone’s dog photos together we will post them. Wag-O-Ween is coming up soon and we will have wicked doggy photos from that event too.

International Sleep Like a Pirate Day was a rockn’ good time for all of the folks not glued to their football games and joined us at Totally Kids. Our staff was happy and some then not so happy with final football scores. Stephanie and Nick, our Packers fans left smiling, but the rest of us who are Viking’s fans felt that our cheering skills need improvement. Hey, come on guys, let’s blame the loss on Devon, our sales team manager, who claims if she sits a certain way, or wears specific attire the team will win. What happened Devon?
