As if the name Sunshine State wasn’t good enough for Floridians, they now have bragging rights that they live in the only state without snow on the ground today – 1-11-11. If you are thinking “gotcha! what about Hawaii ?” Surprise, there is always snow there, where snow falls in Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea all winter.
How deep is the snow in your yard?
If any of you have rushed out and purchased sleds and skis, can’t say that I blame you. Go right ahead and enjoy them while you can.
When your snow melts away in a few days you can turn them into chairs for your backyard or beach. Ah, a beach with warm white sand.
Ideal for a snow day or snow season, a classic folding kick sled which might become your Rosebud.
To all of you that only look at the white stuff for a few days – enjoy! For those of us in Minnesota, where it has snowed on 33 of our past 42 days, the forth of July is not that far off.
