As if the name Sunshine State wasn’t good enough for Floridians, they now have bragging rights that they live in the only state without snow on the ground today – 1-11-11. If you are thinking “gotcha! what about Hawaii ?” Surprise, there is always snow there, where snow falls in Mauna¬†Loa and Mauna Kea all winter.

How deep is the snow in your yard?

If any of you have rushed out and purchased sleds and skis, can’t say that I blame you. Go right ahead and enjoy them while you can.

When your snow melts away in a few days you can turn them into chairs for your backyard or beach. Ah, a beach with warm white sand.

Ideal for a snow day or snow season, a classic folding kick sled which might become your Rosebud.

To all of you that only look at the white stuff for a few days – enjoy! For those of us in Minnesota, where it has snowed on 33 of our past 42 days, the forth of July is not that far off.

Just as the weatherman predicted, it happened, snow! Welcome Winter to Minneapolis, and a splendid  job at bringing a Wonderland with you.

Kuddos to you Winter for choosing your arrival on a Saturday when many of us did not have to go to school or work, and could stay home to enjoy your gift of beauty and snow.

Roll up some snowball treats in the warmth of your own kitchen.

Keep Winter’s beauty inside with these Victorian Snowflakes that everyone in the family can create. They will not disappear like the snowball treats plus will not melt away.

Could this folding kick sled could become your Rosebud?
